DYME was founded at the end of 2017 by Larissa Zyamzina and Roger Heunis, who decided to start Beauty on demand business in South Africa. With the world moving fast today towards the Technology and Innovation, DYME was created with the goal to transform the Beauty industry in South Africa by simply connecting customers and beauty professionals in a new online world, providing new convenience to both App Users. Mobile beauty professionals can enjoy an extra income, flexible work hours, all App admin support and customers enjoy convenience of beauty services delivered to their doorstep whenever wherever they need it.
DYME launched its BETA version of the mobile application in April 2018. After 5 months of testing the app in real-world scenarios and making updates, streamlining services, and adding new features, the company was ready to acquire service providers ready to give the industry a bit of a shakeup. DYME set out to position itself as the primary facilitation platform for beauty and spa professionals and millennials to exchange services for payment in this instant gratification era we are living in.
DYME App was developed in cooperation with International App Development company, having more than 10 years of experience, developing similar Apps globally.
DYME offers a whole new way of life to Artists embarking on the Artist-partnership journey with us. Working with a mobile app as a support tool requires some adjustment no matter what your past experiences in the beauty and spa service industry may be.

DYME does not offer employment to Artists. Instead, we offer a Partnership to support you Artists in your business operations and professional
DYME reserves the right upon reasonable request, based on ratings or customer reviews or both, to require current Artist-partners to update their services training or provide proof that they are up to date with their practices as well as toolkits and products.

Roger has 20+ years experience in the entertainment industry as A&R, music production, events project management, Content producer and manager, Research & development, and Digital Marketing. He toured Africa and Europe extensively for over a decade as an Artist.
Irina Soluyanova- Co-Founder & Partner in Recruitment
Irina is a global-minded experienced executive search and business development professional with a track record of senior-level assignments in Europe, Middle East & Africa, CIS. Good understanding of processes within numerous sectors including energy, technology, industrial, consumer goods, luxury, hospitality, beauty/wellness, banking & finance.
Nicole Norman- PR & Social Media Manager
Founder & Editor at Normadic online fashion platform. Nicole’s prior experiences include social media management at restaurant chain, social media content writing, TV presenting, Fashion correspondent, Digital content producing.
Sheila Otieno-Osanya, Head of DYME Johannesburg Operations
Sheila has 18 years of experience in Hospitality & Spa Management starting with graduation in Switzerland. Sheila is Kenyan, she relocated to South Africa in 2001 as Deputy GM at Misty Hills Country Hotel, Johannesburg. Since Dec 2008 Sheila runs her own consultancy The Spa people, helping Beauty Spas across Johannesburg to operate effectively at the 5-star level.
If you’re like me, going out to do self care things like get my hair cut or get a massage or get that heel treatment (which I learned is called a pedicure) can all become quite a chore. Which is why I dig this concept of ordering a Self-Care service to your door. It’s the convenience that outweighs the necessity for me. The way that I would easily order me up an Uber Eats takeaway simply because I didn’t have the time to go pick it up myself or the bandwidth to deal with anything other than what I was focused on. It’s as easy as 1,2,3 Click & Done for me! I would do it without hesitation.
And actually, I Just Did… 😏😎
See, didn’t waste time & with the crazy hours I keep running two businesses plus now teaching from Monday to Thursday, I simply Do Not have the time to go out to self-care.

I knew I had to do something special to mark the day & reward myself for this huge accomplishment. So I reached out to Sheila (Jozi Team Leader) to get some guidance on which massage would be best & which artist/massage therapist I should choose. After her expert counsel I decided to go with the Deep Tissue Massage.
The App allows you to track your artist from the moment they start traveling to you.
Friday morning we had an amazing DYME Shoot session very close to our office, it was an exciting experience & I truly enjoyed taking pictures of everyone, artists & clients alike. Content will be shared on the DYME Social Media channels concurrently so stay plugged into their accounts. So by the
Magic Healing Hands aka Frank arrived promptly, actually slightly before scheduled time as I’d noted my Netflix event time & clearly he paid attention. The setup was relatively quick & we legit set it up right in my office next to my desk!! I wanted to showcase the versatility of what DYME has to offer. I mean I would totally order myself a barber or pedicure while at work. So I could multi-task, do my work while the artist performed the service of self-care on my hair or heels. It’s a genius option that I’m glad has been created.
Frank was very patient with me. Being in social media you tend to wanna document everything with pics & vids to be used later to create content. So I really appreciated that Frank allowed me the time to do this before we hunkered down into the real massage.
My first deep tissue massage experience was truly one I’m not soon to forget. Frank went to war with all my knots &
